Effective August 10, 2026

UmpTrack is operated by Steven Springman Jr. (“UmpTrack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you use UmpTrack, the UmpTrack mobile or web application, and UmpTrack.net (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an UmpTrack account, we may collect information such as your email address, display name, account identifier, authentication information handled by our authentication provider, and account preferences.

Umpiring and Assignment Information

You may choose to enter information about your officiating activities, including scheduled and completed games, dates, times, locations, leagues or organizations, assigners, crew information, plate or base assignments, game fees, payment status, notes, and related assignment details.

Earnings, Payment, and Mileage Information

UmpTrack may store information you enter concerning game fees, amounts earned, whether a game has been paid, mileage, mileage-planning values, and other records used to help you organize your officiating activity. UmpTrack is not a bank, payment processor, tax preparer, accountant, or financial adviser.

Performance Information

If you use performance features, we may store ratings, notes, plate and base performance information, mechanics observations, crew-size or system information, and other self-evaluation data that you choose to record.

Contacts

You may manually enter information about assigners, officials, organizations, or other contacts. You are responsible for having an appropriate basis to enter and use information about other people. UmpTrack should not be used to create public directories of third-party contact information.

Technical and Service Information

We may process technical information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, diagnose, and improve the Service, such as device/browser information, network status, authentication events, synchronization status, error information, and security logs. If we later introduce analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or other SDKs that materially change our practices, this Policy and applicable store disclosures will be updated before or when those practices are introduced.

2. How We Use Information

3. Service Providers

We may use third-party service providers to operate UmpTrack. The current development architecture uses Supabase for services such as authentication, database storage, and cloud synchronization. We may later use hosting, email, analytics, customer-support, subscription, Apple, Google, or other providers as needed to operate the Service. Providers receive information only as reasonably necessary for their role and are expected to protect it appropriately.

4. Sale, Advertising, and Tracking

UmpTrack does not intend to sell users’ personal information. The current beta design does not rely on targeted advertising. If UmpTrack later introduces advertising, cross-app tracking, or materially different data sharing, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required before using those practices.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service. Cloud records are designed to be separated by authenticated user account, and access controls are used to limit users to their own data. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you use the Service with that understanding.

6. Data Retention

We generally retain account and user-entered information while your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service. When an account is deleted, we will delete or de-identify associated personal information within a reasonable period, except information we must retain for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax/accounting, or compliance reasons. Backup copies may persist temporarily until overwritten under normal backup processes.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, or other processing of your personal information. UmpTrack also intends to provide tools for exporting account data and deleting accounts. Requests may be sent to privacy@umptrack.net.

8. Account Deletion

Users may initiate deletion through the account settings in the production application and through the web-based deletion method described at UmpTrack.net/delete-account. Account deletion is intended to remove the UmpTrack account and associated personal data that we are not legally required to retain. Deleting the app from a device does not by itself delete an UmpTrack account.

9. Children’s Privacy

UmpTrack is intended for sports officials and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to UmpTrack, contact privacy@umptrack.net.

10. International Use

UmpTrack is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from another country, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as UmpTrack changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change is material.
